Amine Gouiri announced his choice to play for the Algerian national team in a post on his official pages on social media.
The Stade Rennais player was associated with the French national team in the U-21 category. Before Djamal Belmadi entered into contact with him to try to convince him to join the ranks of the Greens.
The Algerian national team coach announced in the last regrouping of September that the players Amine Gouiri and Yasser Larouci, the Sheffield United player, would join the Algerian national team in the future.
This is what happened when Gouiri announced his choice to play for Algeria yesterday, Tuesday, September 26th, through his post, declaring, “With all pride, I announce to you my choice to play for the Algerian national team.”
He also added, “I will defend with my body and soul the Fennecs jersey to raise the colors of the Algerian flag high and contribute to writing new pages from its wonderful history.”
An announcement that fans of the Algerian national team have long awaited, in light of the wonderful level presented by Gouiri, and the decline in the level of some strikers in Belmadi’s squad.
