The wheel of the Algerian League has returned to turning, as the new football season in Algeria begins today Friday, September 15th, 2023. With the matches of the first round of the Mobilis Professional League being played.
The opening of the first round will be from the two stadiums of Hammam Ammar in Khenchela, where the USM Khenchela will receive the ES Setif team at 4pm, and at the same time the MC El Bayadh team will receive the CS Constantine at the Zakaria Majdoub Stadium in El Bayadh. And on the same day, at 7pm, ASO Chlef will receive MC Oran at Mohamed Boumezrag Stadium in Chlef.
The round matches will be completed on Saturday, September 16th, when JS Kabylie travels to the municipal stadium of Magra to face the NC Magra, and the MC Algiers receive the club of ES Ben Aknoun at the Omar Ben Rabah Stadium in municipality of Dar El Baida in a match that will be played behind closed doors due to the punishment imposed on the Mouloudia of Algiers. And at 8pm JS Saoura will receive US Biskra at the August 20th ,1956 stadium in Bechar.
The first round of the Mobilis First Division will witness two postponed matches, the match between US Souf and CR Belouizdad, and the match between Paradou Athletic Club and USM Algiers. This is due to CR Belouizdad’s commitment to participating in the second preliminary round of the African Champions League and the USMA team’s participation in the African Super Cup match against Al-Ahly of Egypt this Friday in Taif, Saudi Arabia.
