The Algerian Football Federation announced in its latest statement that the Algerian national team will face Cape Verde on Thursday, October 12th at 8 PM at the Chahid Hamlaoui stadium in Constantine . After that, the team will move to the United Arab Emirates, specifically to Abu Dhabi, to face the Egyptian national team, the expected match with the African runner-up,will be on Monday, October 16th.
as reminder, the Algerian national team had faced the Cape Verdean squad on five occasions, including four official matches and one friendly match in 2018. This opponent had played the last game against the Togolese national team as part of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers. On the other side , the match against the Egyptian national team will be very important to evaluate the performance of the Algerian one, considering that they are one of the best African teams, having been crowned champions of Africa 7 times and previously reached the final of the African Cup of Nations as the runner-up to the Senegalese champions.The Algerian national team has faced its Egyptian counterpart in 30 matches in various competitions, including official and friendly matches. The Algerian one won 11 matches, while the Egyptian won 9 games, and 10 matches ended in a draw.
